Red Wings Close Training Camp with Red & White Game in Grand Rapids

The Detroit Red Wings wrapped up training camp with their annual Red & White Game at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, returning to the venue for the first time since 2011. In front of a sellout crowd of 10,834, Team White edged Team Red 3-2 in a shootout. Elmer Söderblom led the way with two goals, while Amadeus Lombardi added a pair of assists. Alex DeBrincat also found the back of the net for Team White, with Jonatan Berggren and Emmitt Finnie providing the offense for Team Red. The game capped off a week of camp as the Red Wings now turn their attention to preseason action, opening Tuesday against the Chicago Blackhawks at Little Caesars Arena.
