Pensacola Blue Wahoos right-hander Evan Fitterer has been named the Southern League Pitcher of the Month for April, following a dominant stretch that saw him put together an impressive 2-1 record and a staggering 0.87 ERA over four appearances.

Fitterer, 24, struck out 20 batters in 20 2/3 innings, allowing only 10 hits and five walks, while holding opposing hitters to a mere .192 batting average.
