Vanderbilt Commodores fall to TCU — Season Ends in Quarterfinal Heartbreak

The top-seeded Commodores saw their historic 2025 run come to an end Saturday night. Despite dominating much of the match — outshooting TCU by a wide margin — Vanderbilt couldn’t close it out. A late equalizer by TCU forced overtime, where the Horned Frogs converted a penalty kick to win 2–1 and advance. 

Vanderbilt finishes the season with one of its best campaigns ever: reaching the Elite Eight for the first time, earning 18 wins, and delivering some memorable performances along the way.

Despite the loss, the team gave fans plenty to be proud of.
