Leps Make History: Cremarosa & Shelagowski Drafted in MLB
On July 14, 2025, Royal Oak Leprechauns pitchers Aidan Cremarosa and Jake Shelagowski were selected in the MLB Draft—marking the eighth and ninth picks in team history. Cremarosa, drafted in the 8th round by the Rays, was dominant at Fresno State and in Royal Oak, while Shelagowski, taken by the Cardinals in the 13th round, impressed with a 98 mph fastball and 10 strikeouts in just one outing this summer.
